Nose is full of cassis, spice, and pepper. Palate has a bigger mouthfeel of blackberry, oak, vanilla, cedar, pipe tobacco, and subtle hints of black pepper. The finish is a great balance tannins and bright acidity. Serve this with medium rare steak, short-ribs and smoked lamb shoulder rubbed in chili. Can be kept properly in the cellar for up to 10+ years. Drinking well now, but give it a year or two of aging in the bottle (that’s if you can help it 😀 ).
